Empire Corporation of Tennessee has been focused on the renovation of Low Income Housing Tax Credit apartment units throughout the Eastern region of the US for the past 12+ years. Since 2003, over 16,000 units have been completed with a very large portion of those units being in the LIHTC program. These renovations have taken place in single story developments to high rise towers. In multiple cases the buildings have been filled near to 100% occupancy. When high occupancy has combined with substantial renovation scopes, Empire has incorporated a system of production that limits the inconveniences to tenants and also produces completed units quickly.
